 Procedure And Requirements To Get Student Visa For Ireland




1.To apply for a student visa, applicants need to produce a letter of acceptance from a recognized school/college/university in Ireland. This will help confirm that the applicant has been accepted to a particular course of study.




2.Students, who are applying for a visa to study in Ireland, must show that they have sufficient funds to support their stay in Ireland without relying on public funds, or reliance on casual employment too.




3.For a student visa application, all original documents are required which should and these should be in English. If the original documents are in other languages, then notarized translation of the same is needed




4.Students, whose visa applications get cancelled in the first attempt, can reapply a second time within a period of two months.




5.The stamp placed on the passport will indicate whether a student is permitted to take up casual employment (twenty hours part time work per week, or full time work during normal college vacation periods.) or not. If a student is permitted to take up casual employment, the entitlement will cease on the completion of the course.




6.The initial visa is valid for a single entry to the country. However, if a student needs to leave the country after a short interval, the student is required to apply for a re-entry visa.




7.In case a student needs to apply for an extended visa, the student has to produce evidence of attending class to the Garda National Immigration Bureau.




8. If the visa application is granted, the embassy to which the applicant has applied to will attach a visa to the applicant's passport.


9. All Masters program applicants get 2 year post study work visa and Bachelor's programs get one year stay back
